Instructor
Shaykh Adeeb Zaman is the Imam of Masjid As-Siddiq. He is an Islamically educated and contemporary Hafidh and teacher residing in Queens, NY. He obtained an undergraduate degree in Geography and Environmental Studies from Hunter College (CUNY) with a minor in Arabic language. Shaykh Adeeb took the bold step to further his memorization of Qur’an, arabic, and Islamic education in various countries including Turkey and Egypt. He completed memorizing the Qur’an, holds multiple Ijazah, and has led the Taraweh salaah at various Masajid in the USA. Shaykh Adeeb has a certificate in Islamic Studies and Arabic Language from the Ihsan Institute for Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies in Turkey.
He has also completed his studies of the traditional Islamic sciences under some of the prominent scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Egypt at the Shaykh Emad Effat (رحمه الله) Seminary. Lastly, Shaykh Adeeb is a graduate of Al-Azhar University with a degree in Islamic Studies and Arabic. He has been an active Imam, khateeb, and teacher (Qur’an and Islamic Studies) at Masjid As-Siddiq in Queens, NY since completing his studies.
